ABBY DAVISSON (Davisson-J 2011)

ABBY DAVISSON is a 7" rich purple with a light gray watermark, a wide yellow throat, and a fine white edge. The watermark shows blue tones early in the morning and raspberry tones on hot afternoons as in this photo. 30" scapes have 5 way branching, 20 buds, and it reblooms in my zone 7 garden. Blooms early to midseason. Semievergreen and lightly fragrant. A sibling to DEEP DARK SECRET, it's from (REFORMA BOULEVARD X JULIE NEWMAR) X STILL THE ONE. Difficult but not impossible as a pod parent, easy as a pollen parent. Named for my lovable daughter in law.
